New Blog

Okay, so I just made another new blog. The "Weird Factor X-19" is gone, and the music is actually on the blog rather then on another blog. This time the blog should stay where it is too. I'll try to make sure it doesn't turn into another dead blog, and to top it off, the web address is ten times easier to remember.

I'll see you there, if you ever check this blog.

Father and Son

Yet another Homschool Poem. A type of poem called Cinquain. Yes, part of my Launguage Arts program. Anyhow, enjoy!

Father and Son
By Tyler Reynolds

God.
Awesome, Only.
Loving, Caring, Giving.
He gave His only Son.
God.

Jesus.
Good, Son.
Teaching, Healing, Forgiving.
He died for us.
Jesus.

Great is the Lord!

For Homeschooling, I had to construct a Psalm. Psalms are generally unrhyming because when translated to English from Greek or Hebrew or whatever launguge written, it doesn't match up anymore. So this Psalm is unrhyming. Enjoy!

Great is the Lord!

By Tyler Reynolds

Great is the Lord!
King of Kings,
Ruler of All!

He will help you in times of trouble,
He will not let you down.
Call upon Him, He will answer –
He will never leave your side.

This is why I say:
“Great is the Lord!
King of Kings,
Ruler of All!”

He said “Let there be light,”
And there was light.
He created the heavens and the earth –
He alone is good.

Again I say, and shout to the earth:
“Great is the Lord!
King of Kings,
Ruler of All!”

Eternal War

It was a dark and stormy night. Maybe it was a bright and sunny day. Regardless, I was homeschooling, in the subject of language arts, on Sep. 1st, 06. I had to write a poem, choosing one of four subjects. I had peeked into the book the other day and had the first two verses pre-planned, but not anything past that...no ideas, no storyboard, no nothing. What was the subject I picked? #3: Write a poem about colors using metaphors and/or similes. (I hope you know what those are.) Anyhow, it soon became a full scale poem, ideas popping into my head, than I say how this was related to...well, you'll have to find that out. Enjoy!

Eternal War

by Tyler Reynolds

Orange and blue is Witherite,
While black and brown is Magnetite.

A war clashes between the two,
But Witherite stands for you.

Magnetite has already lost,
Black and brown must pay the cost.

Witherite will save the world,
The flag of orange and blue unfurled.

But Magnetite will always try,
Witherite does he defy.

Black and brown shall soon be bound,
Orange and blue shall be crowned.

This war, you see, is somewhat true,
Yes, it has to do with you.

God is like Witherite,
He stands for all things just and right.

And Satan is like Magnetite.
He has already lost the fight.

The New Believer

I mase this poem when I was in fifth grade...this is what sparked my liking of making poetry I think. Enjoy!

A New Believer

By Tyler Reynolds

A boy sits in his room
Thinking to himself
Decides to read a book
And pulls one off the shelf

He opens up the book
Read how God created Earth
And was completely amazed when he learned
God had known him before his birth.

Then he read the Ten Commandments
“I’m in trouble now,” he thought
He didn’t know his sins could be forgiven
And later he was taught.

The boy skipped forward to Luke
Read of Jesus’ birth
And was set to tears
On how Jesus saved the Earth

Now he understood
His sins could be forgiven
If he confessed his sins, and asked God
From him his sins could be driven

Then his heart was changed
He had something to live for
Now he had the chance
To tell it all to more.
